If any of you find yourselves in or around Vancouver, you have to go to Glenburn Soda Fountain and Confectionery. It’s an old school milkshake, soda, and sundae shop in Burnaby, a couple blocks from me. So very good.

I’m assuming this is Canada and not Vancouver, WA...
Those look really yummy.

Correct, I always forget there’s a Vancouver in WA.
Yes, they’re quite excellent

They have any sundaes served with a brownie? I enjoy a brownie with a scoop of vanilla or chocolate on top.

What sort of abomination is this? Some culinary barriers were not meant to be broken

Took your advice and brought the wife there last night. Had a hot fudge sundae and a chocolate malt. Neat place, and good stuff! Thanks!

Awesome! I’m impressed by all the old equipment they’ve got, and that they make their own butterscotch and all those syrups too.

Glad you mentioned the place. Thanks again, we will definitely be returning. It was like taking a step back in time to the 1950's.
They’re hiring Soda Jerks too, if anyone is interested. Probably doesn’t pay all that well, but being able to add “Professional Jerk” to the resume might be worth it.
Next time the wife and I plan to visit the Cannoli place thats next door as well... and the bookstore next to that with the big fat kitty cat sleeping in the window. Diabetes, here I come!

No problem! Oh and the place next door gets their Cannoli from Cannoli King, they’re really good. Yeah that cat is impressively massive haha
